Increasing Employment Opportunities at Goodness and Mercy Missions, Cameroon

Graduation at Goodness and Mercy Missions 1
Increasing employment opportunities through computer knowledge has been a program of Goodness and Mercy Missions since 2008. Hundreds of students have graduated at the computer institute in Belo thus increasing their potential for easy employment. Those who have graduated are now employed in schools, hospitals, shops etc. We could not have been thus successful if without the assistance of local and international partners. One of such partners is Informatik Afrik, Switzerland who keep blessing the program with computers and sports material. This year on the 8th of July another graduation took place at the Goodness and Mercy Missions centre. Our partners from Switzerland were present and it was a grand occasion. You can support the program by looking at our links and our man website

Teenage Mother’s in need of sponsoring

Young Mothers in need of Sponsorship

The women below are young mothers who have had children outside of marriage. In the Belo area in North West Cameroon, women who have children outside of marriage are outcasts in society. It is also cultural for men to work and women to care for the children in the household, and it is because of this belief that the women below do not have education or access to paid employment. The aim of the work being done with Goodness and Mercy Mission with young mothers has been to empower them and teach them that they to are important and can achieve and deserve to have good, successful lives in which they can work and provide for their children without being dependent on family, a husband or the community. In order to empower themselves they do require financial support to learn a trade which will enable them to get paid employment and start their own businesses.

If you would like to help empower one of the women below please email Teh Francis, the director of Goodness and Mercy mission on info@gmmafrica.org
